In Honor & Memory of
Correctional Ofc. Joshua M. Riedle
Illinois Department of Correction
EOW: Dec, 23 2008

The C/O Joshua M. RiedleTye Band memorial bracelets, military bracelets...

- Revelation 21:4 TNIV4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
-
-
-
-
- Joshua Riedle was born on January 28, 1974, a very cold snowy day, (18"), at Fayette Co. Hospital in Vandalia, IL to Roy & Debbie Riedle. He was the first of three loves of our life. He was not perfect, he had his faults, he was baptized into the Lutheran faith and loved God. He grew up to be a wonderful, kind, thoughtful, fun loving son, husband, father, brother and uncle.
-
-
- Josh was a Correctional Officer for the IL Dept of Corrections at the Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, IL and co-owner along with his father of Riedle Inc., a lawn and garden center in Marhall, IL, where he also resided with his wife Betsy and daughter Olivia.
- Josh was a communicant member of Grace Lutheran Church in Paris, IL and an active member of their Bible Class. He was a member of the American Legion Post in St. Peter, IL. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball, riding his 4-wheeler and Harley, and lifting weights with his friend Shane.
- He went to be with the Lord on Dec. 23, 2008 at Carle Clinic in Urbana, IL from severe head trauma received from an automobile accident on Dec. 21 2008. He was returning home from his nephews birthday party that afternoon. He is and always will be greatly loved and missed and we all know we will be with him one day in heaven when the Lord comes again. But for now we ask God for the strength to see us through to that day.1 Corinthians 15:54 TNIV When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
- Our parting is not the end of our relationship, only an interruption. Our loved ones are experiencing the joy of Christ's presence in a place so wonderful that Christ called it Paradise and one day, we're told, in a magnificent reunion, they and we "will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words."
