We've all heard, and many of us have said...
"Things arn't important".
But they are,
when they represent the most important thing in the world...
the people we love.
Because so many people have invited Tye into your hearts we wanted to share some of these " Special Things " with you.
This was sent to us on 01.06.06
As you may or maynot know. Tye was very proud to be "The Bunker" who is the first one in. It was the very first Tye Band we made to honor Tye and his fellow SWAT team members...
Tye's fellow officers will NOT FORGET their Friend!
Notice the number on the Bunkers /shields...

This picture below was sent on 3.20.06 Two and half years after Tye was murdered !

Tye was so thoughtful before deciding on a gift. Here is jsut a couple of examples.
Tye was so worried he wouldn't get this finish for his dad before there next hunting trip. Tye was 12 years old when he made this belt and his father wears it often.
Tye gave this to picture and inscription to his dad for Fathers Day when he was 14 years old. The same years Tye accepted Jesus as his personal savior.
Like every parent Tye's Mother & Father wanted everything they could provide that was good for their children. When Tye was 8 years old and Michael Jr. was 15 years old they moved to a log home in the county just south of Fremont on west side of the Platted river. As Tye's mother often said it was child's dream and a mother's nightmare. Hunting fishing a Four-Wheeling and you name it. Tye once told one of his fellow officers "My dad and mom made it so I could hunt and fish out my back yard and now I get to do what I love for a living".Here is where Tye and his brother Michael grew up...

One day after scholl Tye headed for the duck slew adjacent to this home. These 2 geese were so heavey for a 10-year old to carry , about 300 yards, he had to rest twice bring them home. The largest one has a wing span of 54".
Tye always had a sixth sense for where the game was. Tye, at age 11, bagged this Red Fox while on a hunting trip with his father and brother .
It's been said, Tye is the only person from Nebraska to make it in Weatherby's Catalog
I'm not sure who is more excite here? The caption reads...
"Nine-year Tye Pratt from Omaha Nebr. shown here with his mother, shot buck in western Nebraska at 165 yeards using his .22/250 Weatherby rifle."It's no trophy but bagging a buck on a full run, at 165 yards, isn't bad for a nine-year old!
This original painting was presented to Tye's parents from the Canadian Mounted Police. It is signed on the back by all of their officers.

Tye was a rugged, All State running back in football, road Bulls in rodeos and was the "bunker" ( first in ) for the Omaha Police S.W.A.T. team he could be seen holding hands with his mother at the Shopping Mall. Perhaps he was best described by his commanding office Kunzie who said "Tye was all man and had the heart of a child."
